Job Description

We are looking for a senior Project Manager to drive a GDPR-relevant project for a client in the financial industry.

The Post-Separation and Integration programme is an integration programme requiring a highly capable Project Manager with strong experience delivering complex technology initiatives across multiple platforms and teams.

The role combines deep technical understanding with structured project leadership, enabling efficient execution, rapid issue resolution and clear communication across engineering, business and executive stakeholders. The Project Manager should have a natural ability to bring order to complexity, drive progress, and ensure and motivate collaboration at all levels.

The Project Manager will drive, lead and ensure execution of a project centred around GDPR compliance. GDPR domain knowledge is therefore required. The project involves complex analysis of systems in scope, and the Project Manager needs solid experience bringing together and aligning multiple units across the organisation.

The Project Manager is expected to lead end-to-end delivery of the solution and report into the programme. The role requires strong experience in executive reporting, including producing clear, concise and data-driven reporting for senior management and steering committees. This includes communicating technical progress, risks and decisions clearly to enable informed executive decisions and actions.

Must-have knowledge and experience:
Hands-on technical delivery and execution leadership
Ability to drive, lead and execute end-to-end delivery of technical solutions
Experience coordinating across multifunctional teams
Ability to ensure alignment between technical requirements, business objectives and delivery timelines
GDPR domain knowledge
Executive reporting and clear communication skills
Excellent stakeholder management
Ability to navigate a highly complex landscape across multiple units
Risk, issue, dependency and action management

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience:
Previous implementation or hands-on experience with GDPR projects
Experience with client guidelines and frameworks
