Job Description

The client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Engineer specializing in Driver Information.

Quality is measurable and tracked but goes beyond mere metrics.
As an Analysis and Verification Engineer for Driver Information, you will work in agile cross-functional teams. You will use your test expertise to coach team members on quality from a testing perspective. This includes ensuring testability during architecture design or function development, writing test cases, and automating tests for regression testing. As a team player in an agile cross-functional team, you will do what is necessary to achieve team goals, including learning from and gaining insights into other disciplines within the team.

 

Main Tasks:

  • Coach your agile team in test-related activities.
  • Design, implement, and run test methods in an automated test environment.
  • Develop features in the test automation framework to enable more extensive testing.
  • Report test results and appropriate recommendations to project management.
  • Analyze issues.

 

Required Skills:

  • Minimum a B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Former experience working with quality assurance of complex embedded systems.
  • Experience working with CANoe, Jenkins, and/or the Robot Framework.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

 

Meritorious Skills:

  • Experience in automotive and driver information and infotainment (instrument cluster, HMI, connectivity, telematics, audio, Bluetooth, navigation, speech, displays, etc.).
  • Experience working with Elektra, CarCom, or SystemWeaver.
  • Experience in test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing.
  • Valid driver’s license B.
