Senior UX Designer – Digital Accessibility & WCAG 2.2 AA
Job Description
Shape accessible digital experiences while helping build a scalable accessibility capability across product teams. You will combine hands-on UX work with accessibility audits, evaluating applications and critical user journeys against WCAG 2.2 AA and translating findings into concrete improvements for designers and engineers.
You need senior UX experience with a strong specialization in digital accessibility and inclusive design. The role requires practical WCAG 2.2 AA assessments, including keyboard-only testing and screen-reader walkthroughs using tools such as NVDA, VoiceOver or JAWS. You should be able to identify issues beyond automated testing, prioritize findings by severity and user impact, and turn them into actionable, backlog-ready recommendations. Experience conducting usability testing with users with disabilities is also important.
Experience with accessible design systems and cross-functional accessibility governance is valuable. IAAP WAS/CPWA or comparable accessibility certification or training is strongly preferred.
