Job Description

Aurobay is looking for a Software Responsible. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with new powertrain control development. You will work as part of a top-performance in-house team with highly skilled people, to create world-class powertrain solutions. We will increase the scope of the Aurobay ECU´s from hybrid engine control to cover fully electric powertrains with functions such as Electrical drive units, inverters, and transmissions.

What you’ll do:

As the Software Lead for Electric Control Units (ECU´s), you will be responsible for leading projects and solutions together with our suppliers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions for our powertrain control units. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and quality assurance experts, to ensure the successful development and integration of software components. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving the advancement of our powertrain control unit technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead projects from Advanced Engineering phase to industrialization phase in the design, development and delivery.

– Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.

– Drive the selection of software architectures and technologies for optimal system performance.

– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

– Act as the main point of contact for software-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.

– Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

– Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in powertrain control software development.

 

Krav/Requirements

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in software project management, with a strong emphasis on embedded systems and powertrain control units, preferably within Automotive Industry.
Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects on time.
In-depth knowledge of powertrain control systems, automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.), and real-time operating systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent in English and good knowledges in Swedish for collaboration.
