Our client went live with Logility Supply Chain Planning software for Sales & Operations in 2016. The PLEX project will implement Logility Manufacturing Planning for our clients Manufacturing, with planned go-live in mid-November, 2021.
Purposes of the project’s quality assurance activities are to secure that quality requirements of Logility (system and data) and integrated legacy systems are met and that our clients Manufacturing is ready to start using Logility upon go-live.
The Test Lead is responsible to plan, coordinate, and follow-up all test activities in the project. PLEX will execute Data validation, Functional unit tests (FUT), System and integration tests (SIT), Performance test, Regression tests, and User Acceptance Test (UAT).
Example of job duties include creation of the Test Plan document, update/monitoring of test activities in the project plan, define start/exit criteria of the different test activities, define system resources requirements and data requirements for tests, assure that roles and responsibilities of test resources are clear and followed. The Test Lead plans and executes test kickoffs, leads defect triage meetings, and major joint test activities, and assures that defects are prioritized and efficiently communicated with Development teams.
Essential role requirements and qualifications include experience of similar role in software implementation project(s), experience of defect tracking in the Jira Software from Atlassian, excellent communication skills verbally and in written, highly proficient in spoken and written English, and very good understanding of business system implementation. The Test Lead will report to the Technology Project manager.
