Engineering Test & License Digital – let’s introduce ourselves

In the Engineering Test & License Digital, (ETLD) department at Engineering Digital we support Engineering (R&D) with IT capabilities needed in testing throughout the whole the car development process. A significant part of our delivery is the Test Object Content Control (TOCC) umbrella where early phase builds are in the spotlight. The agile TOCC products supports the entire lifecycle of a test object, from creation and specification throughout the usage phase, and we are merely in the beginning of a very exciting journey for these products serving thousands of users at R&D, Manufacturing Engineering and the Production plants globally. The TOCC vision is to increase the overall efficiency in the test object operations.

What you’ll do
We now seek to strengthen our TOCC Software download application with an engaged and collaborative developer. This application will be a key application going forward and there is a lot in the pipeline. Software Download complements our main system, TOCC Core, which is the global Test Object process tool for the Test Object planning, ordering and monitoring. The application is communicating with all test object sites as well as the production facilities globally. The team is working with a diverse tech stack within the area including the Microsoft Entity Framework, Blazor web app, Radzen, Azure Logic Apps and Typescript.

You would be a part of an international DevOps team onsite at our headquarters in Torslanda, partly with support from offshore. The team is working with an end-to-end mindset, gathering the requirements from business, implementing the solutions and deploying/maintaining the application. Our way of working builds on the Scrum philosophy and its ceremonies which guides our development.

What you’ll bring
We believe that skilled engineers can switch and learn new languages and technologies, but to be a great match for our team we believe you possess the following skills:

  • Experience from developing Single Page Web applications.
  • Knowledge of .Net, Javascript/Typescript
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud based hosting and solutions
  • Business Knowledge of Embedded Software
  • Business knowledge of Product Data Management & Product Configurations
  • You deliver performant, testable and maintainable high-quality code.
  • You take ownership and operational responsibility for the components that you develop.
  • You are motivated by working collaboratively in teams and continuously improving by giving and receiving feedback.
    A knowledge of either Scrum, Full Stack Development or the Automotive industry domain is meritorious but not required.
