Intelligent Platform department is responsible for the design of electrical architectures regarding topology, logic architecture, function allocation, base technologies, system safety and cybersecurity. Secure Platform team is within Intelligent Platform and responsible for all aspects of system safety and cybersecurity.
As Senior Cybersecurity Engineer you will work within our Cyber Security team. The main objective is to ensure that onboard vehicle systems are following set security requirements and standards. The work will in many cases be done in close cooperation with other teams within Geely Automotive Group. The work involves the complete development cycle from risk analysis, security concept design, requirement setting, supplier follow interactions as well as test activity planning and execution.
Examples of major tasks/activities
Develop and lead activities related to cybersecurity concepts/specifications/requirements
Perform design reviews and risk analysis (TARA)
Review cybersecurity documents, specifications, TARAs and test results
Support with Cyber Security Joint Reviews in vehicle projects
Support planning and driving cybersecurity testing and V&V activities
Contribute to the activities to increase awareness and knowledge of cybersecurity within the organization
Experience of working with cybersecurity aspects of automotive embedded systems for at least two of the major areas. Examples of areas include but are not limited to secure diagnostics, key management, secure in-vehicle communication and relevant protocols, secure software/firmware update, secure boot, HSM.
Experience of working with risk assessment and management.
In-depth knowledge about relevant best practices, standards and regulations in the automotive cybersecurity.
Good knowledge of in-vehicle electrical system and architecture , including software architecture, for example, AUTOSAR.
It’s meritorious to have experience of working with cybersecurity testing
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent area.
