Business Process Developer

Group Real Estate is an integrated function in the  Group, with both strategic and operational responsibility for the Group’s properties, including real estate assets and facility management. We are responsible for the entire property lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. We are approximately 300 employees supporting the Group in 60 countries worldwide. Our property footprint consists of some 1000 sites, both leased and owned. We manage all types of properties: dealers, workshops, offices, warehouses, production facilities and more.

Property Transaction and Leases (PTL) is a global function within Group Real Estate.
PTL safeguards that our Group’s Global Property Portfolio, leased or owned, is optimized for its purpose.
We serve as the process owner and global hub of expertise relating to site planning, property development, transactions, leases and the portfolio register. We drive transaction and property development projects, but also ensures among other things that we have efficient systems and ways of tracking, analyzing, visualizing and understanding our property portfolio.

We work in close collaboration with Group Real Estate Divisions and Functions as well as directly with other business areas and functions within the Group.

Description of role
The consultant we are looking for will be responsible for the Group Property Portfolio and lease database and its related areas.
By driving this area in close collaboration with Group Real Estate operations and suppliers, you ensure a long-term quality and efficiency of our property portfolio and lease process. With your mindset and focus, you will contribute to building a strong continuous improvement culture for the function.

Your main responsibilities will be
Govern, maintain, and develop the Property Portfolio Database structure, processes, instructions, trainings and reporting, including co-operation with GRE Divisions and IT to secure a well-functioning system and process.
Take part in various forums and be the general point of contact relating to all questions & issues relating to the Property Portfolio Database.
Maintain and secure that we have a well-functioning relationship with the supplier that provides the Property Portfolio Database software and handles lease data extraction.
Extract, analyze, compile, and visualize data from Property Portfolio Database as needed for different projects and reports. This includes e.g. management reports, internal cost allocation keys, performance indicators etc.
Drive projects relating to the development of the Property Portfolio Database and participate in other projects (IT, finance etc.) affecting the Property Portfolio Database.
Support Property Portfolio & Lease director to develop internal lease and occupancy network and other lease related projects.

Top Skills
Experienced in business analysis, process development, strategy work or similar.
You are a structured, analytical with an eye for details.
You have a curious mindset and a will to understand problems and you have a continuous improvement approach.
You can communicate and visualize information and build a storyline. (Power BI skills is a plus)
You are comfortable working with various IT tools, understand the importance of correct master data and can handle big amounts of data. Excellent Excel skills is also required.
You have a relevant university background or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
Experience from real estate, particularly leases, is helpful but not necessary.
You are a team-player that contribute with energy and a good team spirit.
You are comfortable working in English on a daily basis.
