Job Description

We are one of four product teams developing and maintaining the core application within the product development at Volvo (KOLA) – the heart of our product documentation. We are team members of different background, genders and experiences. We have an open communication and always a helpful mindset. With us, you will take a key role in an agile team, striving for adopting DevSecOps manners.
In our team we have the possibility to work from the office in Lundby, Gothenburg every day but also the option to partly work from home. We look forward to expanding our team with a Principal Business Analyst, focusing primarily on the VARIANT domain.

What will you be doing?
We are bit by bit transforming our monolith solution to a modern cloud native microservice architecture. Your work together in the team will be a mix of modernization, development of new functionality according to the new target architecture and some adjustments of the current java client.
In this role you will be a key player in hands-on activities such as Feature and Story refinement as well as defining future solutions together with Business Stakeholders, UX specialists, Product Owners, Architects and Software Engineers. This work follows the Design Thinking approach. For you it’s natural to continuously reflect upon how we can improve and take a dialogue on this with your colleagues.

Experience Comments
Your personality is your major asset, but you also have:
Been working as a Business Analyst in an agile team and have gained experience through different domains and business segments. Preferably you have worked with complex systems possesses capabilities such as Configuration Management, Product Structure Management, Variability or similar.
You have a university degree in Systems/Data/Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Software/Electrical Engineering or similar.
To be able to work with us you need to have a valid work-permit for Sweden and be fluent in English. Swedish is a clear advantage, since your colleagues live and work in Gothenburg, Sweden.
