Commerce Solutions is responsible for the delivery of D2C and B2B digital solutions to be consumed
by the different customer journeys for both Retail and Fleet customers. Product areas found within
Commerce include Polestar’s Car Configurator tool, Digital Storefront (pre-owned, extras webshop),
Checkout, Order &; Delivery, as well as Financial Services Partner integrations and the Fleet
About the role
As a Business Analyst, you will ensure that business and customer perspectives are addressed,
eliciting information to enable delivery. You will work closely with the team to ensure alignment and
cross-functional collaboration. You will also work as a liaison among different stakeholders in order to
understand their viewpoint, to ensure close alignment among stakeholders and the vision set by the
In addition, this role provides context around market, competitive intelligence and customer needs
and pain points, to help the team define the work at hand. As such, you will play an important role in
ensuring the team is aligned, especially across competence areas.
Support your team with executing the Digital strategy, providing fact-based analysis of the
business/digital environment for the specific digital product, service or platform, utilizing information
gathered from a variety of resources and channels.
Drive an MVP mindset across the team, helping the team defining user-testable outputs.
Be responsible for supporting the creation of business requirements and user stories, for example by
helping the team clarify acceptance criteria.
Create and maintain Business Analyst artifacts, ensuring that these are of high quality so that they
contribute to the overall quality of the digital product, service or platform.
Deep technical and/or process-level knowledge of user needs and pain points
Comfortable with processes and technology to be able to understand and help problem solve with technical team(s), addressing their concerns
Solid understanding of the MVP mindset, understanding the value of short-term planning
Experience with writing User Stories, decomposing work to drive prioritization
Excellent facilitation skills, able to lead team members through the right activities for expected outcomes
Communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs while telling a compelling story
Strong leadership and influencing skills, with confidence explaining complex process or technical details to diverse groups of people
