This may be an excellent opportunity for you to take on a new challenge! We are looking for an engaged team member to the Closure Mechatronic group.

The group Closure Mechatronic is responsible for the latches, handles, door modules & re-charge modules. The group consists of 16 engineers with a mix of nationalities, gender, and ages.

What you will do?
As a design engineer you will work with the carrier plate for the door module system. You will do the pre studies in Catia, setting up the concepts. Further on you will continue with the industrialization models until our full-service suppliers is on board and takes over the responsibility. You will collaborate in cross-functional teams to get the best concepts and solutions.

You will be responsible for and lead the development of our products in the car projects with responsibility for function, performance, and quality. You will have the responsibility to meet the targets for the technical solution, the time plan and cost.

Who are you?

You are a structured and solution-oriented design engineer with a genuine interest in technology and with the ability to drive tasks towards goals and deliver on time. You have good knowledge in CATIA V5 and Team Center. You possess strong communication skills and are eager to work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with others. You are capable of independently performing development tasks in a cross-functional team environment. You have a very good sense of responsibility to meet targets for time plan, technical solution, and costs. You can act as a mentor in your area of expertise. You are not afraid of working in a fast changing and very challenging environment.

We see that you have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, with knowledge and experience from mechatronics. You have very good experience from project leadership and coordinating cross-functional teams.
