Job Description

We are looking for a senior Commercial Project Manager for an assignment within project delivery, payments and fintech.

The role is part of a Small / Medium Business Project Management Office and focuses on project delivery connected to commercial execution, migration and backoffice convergence.

As an Instore Project Manager, you will be responsible for a Backbook Migration and Backoffice Convergence project, or a subset of features within a program, ensuring that tasks and risks are properly identified and driven to completion.

You will organize and lead planning activities that result in the creation of a release / project roadmap and ensure that all teams align with enterprise planning expectations.

The role includes close collaboration with Product Managers and Product Development teams to execute and deliver projects in line with product vision, project goals, objectives and timelines. You will also ensure that appropriate domain resources are engaged.

You will work closely with the commercial team, together with Product and Engineering Managers, to align the migration plan and execute delivery according to the agreed plan.

You will create and manage clear gating criteria with business partners for Go / No-go decisions.

You will drive resolution of project-level issues, leveraging scrum-of-scrums as needed.

You will monitor the health of project delivery, track project-level status, risks, issues and dependencies, proactively address delivery team impediments and resolve project-level roadblocks to enable successful execution.

Required skills and experience:

Strong experience managing commercial or go-to-market workstreams for large-scale software, platform or customer migration programs.

Proven ability to operate in a highly matrixed, multi-location environment, collaborating across business, customer-facing and technology teams.

Experience working alongside Product and Engineering teams while not directly owning product delivery.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with Sales, Customer Support, Marketing and Web teams.

Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate delivery timelines into business and customer-facing plans.

Solid understanding of Agile delivery concepts to align commercial plans with iterative product releases.

Experience creating commercial artifacts such as readiness checklists, enablement plans, playbooks, customer communication plans and executive status reports.

Strong organizational and communication skills across global teams and time zones.
