The group “Suspension Control System & Vehicle Dynamics Control System Simulation” within Vehicle dynamics (VDYN) sub stream, residing in the “Vehicle motion and energy management” technology stream, is responsible for the development of suspension control, TPMS, and to verify vehicle dynamics control systems for all truck brands within Volvo Group Trucks Technology.
The work is performed in a multi-cultural environment with both internal and external contacts such as the different development sites around the world and suppliers.
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to strengthen our team in the verification area.
You will be performing test and verification tasks and further developing our existing HIL simulator test environments including hardware, software, models, GUIs and test cases. You will be writing test specifications, performing and analyzing HIL simulator tests, present and reporting verification results.
You will be part of the MIL, SIL & HIL team and work in close cooperation with our suspension control function development engineers as well as with colleagues inside and outside the VMEM development stream. Profile:

Degree in engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Physics or similar)
Experience from Development of embedded control systems within the automotive industry Merits:
Experienced CANalyzer/CANoe user
Experienced Python or C-code programmer
Vehicle dynamics knowledge
Experience from working with simulations of mechatronic/pneumatic systems
ISO26262 & Cyber security experience
