SW developer with system engineering experience for Active Safety & AD functions

Our unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consists of around 700 skilled engineers who are responsible for everything from research and advanced engineering, to implementation, verification, and validation of current and future customer offers in the area of Safety, Vehicle control and Autonomous Drive.
Within our Domain, AD&ADAS Functions, we develop functions such as Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking, Low-speed AD, Driver Support, Pilot Assist and Highway Pilot. We develop and integrate functionality and SW into a complete product, making use of sensor input such as radar, camera, ultrasonic and lidar, that build a comprehensive perception of the car’s surroundings. Our team is now looking for senior Software Developers to support us in our expansion!

 What you’ll do
In the position as SW developer you will be a key contributor in structuring and designing the functionalities in this important area.
Your main focus will be System Engineering for SW functions.
You will be part of our SW development team and contribute to the development of software concepts, components, and requirements as part of the complete AD/ADAS system.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a passion for developing SW in safety-critical systems. You have some experience from System Engineering in a functional SW context. Through your experience in this area, you understand the relationship between function development and SW development. You have some years of experience in developing SW for safety-critical systems, preferably according to ISO26262.
You are familiar with C++ coding as well as model-based development in Simulink / EC or similar.
You have good analytical skills and testing experience.

You are known for your collaboration and communication skills.
You are curious, always eager to learn and innovate.
You care about people and you like to take responsibility for structuring the work and getting things done.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Driver’s license B is required.
