Job Description

Under the category of Project/Program Manager, we are now looking for a Sourcing Specialist – Product Area Sourcing Lead
As a Product Area Sourcing Lead your overall responsibility is to ensure we are Maximizing the obtained value from the vendor deliveries towards the Product Area, ensuring that the deliveries support our specific requirements and transformational roadmap.Your main tasks and

Leading the work with creating and updating IT-sourcing strategy, together with main stakeholders and based on the overall IT-strategy.
Owning the overall plan for execution of the IT-sourcing strategy.
Secure relevant KPIs/metrics, incl an e2e perspective as well as contracts to fulfil the required delivery set-up/models
Supporting the Product Areas in tactical and strategic sourcing issues.
Aligning the Product Areas’ roadmaps and business requirements with knowledge about sourcing trends and best practice to ensure that our sourcing fulfils the long term needs of VCC.
Collaborating with external parties, e.g. Gartner, to define our maturity level within different areas and create action plans if required.
Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to review the vendor footprint and existing mechanisms to balance right level of competition with collaboration and partnership.
Owning the criteria for deviations from the primary choices of vendor and delivery model(s) for new demands and participate in relevant decision forums where deviations are reviewed.
Participating in relevant governance forums and maintaining a relationship with our vendors at management level.
Maintaining an overall view of the vendor deliveries towards the Product Area.
Obtaining knowledge about the contracts within the Product Area and managing relevant contract changes.
Managing relationships with vendors as well as key internal stakeholders.
Representing and contributing to the PA Product Area transformation roadmap, concerning the vendor deliveries.
Leading the aggregated vendor performance at Product Area level and initiating/driving improvements to maximize the value from the vendor delivery.
Leading the identification of suitable delivery models and vendor(s) for new or modified demands.
Monitoring risks in relation to the vendor deliveries and contributing to the mitigation.

Top Skills
B.E, BSc, MSc, or equivalent training in Computer Science or other relevant subject area
Experience from working with agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum or Kanban
Domain experience from Manufacturing and/or automotive industry + Commercial area
Contract managementPersonal qualities
Excellent Program/Project management skills and a positive attitude
Embracing a leadership role and an agile mindset, servant leader, working through influence and ability to motivate people
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
Experience of working with global teams – multiple culture
Excellent Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders – Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Having strong technical background is preferred (development/operations/infrastructure)
