Do you have a drive to lead and inspire? Then we are a perfect match! EATS System Design & Simulation is now looking for a Technology Leader (TLE) to start as soon as possible. TLE at Volvo GTT Powertrain Engineering, EATS (Engine After Treatment System)
The group System Design & Simulation consists of 4 simulation engineers and 4 technical leaders as well as 2 system engineers. Our overall mission is to minimize fuel consumption (CO2) and emissions and improve features and quality. The daily work is done in close cooperation with the EATS section as well as the project team. As a Technology Leader EATS you represent the EATS section in different projects and are the coordinate and lead the project work within the EATS system. You have mandate to prioritize work to suit overall section and project deliveries

Responsible for
Coordinate and lead project work within the EATS section
Section budget (with input from with Group Managers)
Using Jira to plan and follow up section’s deliveries (responsible of the section’s Jira “Features” connected to the concerned project(s))
EATS L4 time plans in PTM including
HW release and verification plan (HW Dev Engineer responsible for supplier DVPs)
Calibration plan (with input from EATS calibration Team Leaders)
Ensure synchronization between Calibration plan and SW release plan (together with SW PO).
Muffler prototype planning (HW Dev Engineer responsible for component/muffler ordering)
Together with EATS Dev Engineer, securing availability of other EATS prototypes (UDS, sensors, ACM, etc)
Coordinating EATS Design Reviews
Keeping requirements updated in Design Requirements. (GSR/HW Dev Engineers resp for the requirements)
S-FMEA (together with GSR) Not responsible but on top of:
PIL reports

Top Skills
Extensive drive to find the best solution for the technology and great ability to coordinate work
Excellent communication skill
BSc of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
Good knowledge in Engine and EATS system is a merit
Strong ability to work in cross functional teams as well as being able to work independently
Structured way of working
Proficient in English, written and spoken
Volvo AB experience is a merit
