Job Description

As a PLM Business Analyst you will work closely together with the different business stakeholders to understand their needs and capture their requirements.
You will guide them through PLM best practices and make sure we support their processes with the right digital capabilities.
In this assignment you will mainly focus on the Software (SW) process. Polestar is currently implementing a new PLM system and you will focus on the SW foundation capabilities.

Core SW capabilities in PLM.
Define how to handle SW from a documentation mgmt, part mgmt, BOM and configuration mgmt and Change mgmt perspective
Capture and document business requirements within the Software area.
Support and guide business with PLM/ALM best practices
Ensure alignment between business and the vision set by the area
Create methods, processes and training the users.

Top Skills
Deep knowledge of PLM area, preferably working with Teamcenter
Experience from Automotive industry and knowledge about the Product Creation Process
Good understanding of Automotive Software development process and corresponding downstream systems
Knowledge about Cybersecurity Management (CSMS) and Software Update Management (SUMS)
Experience from working with Engineering Standards and Engineering Statement of Work
Comfortable with processes/ technology/IT to be able to understand and help problem solve with technical team(s), addressing their concerns
Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices, technology and supporting industry principlesOther requirements
Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
Efficient communicator, comfortable speaking with business stakeholders
You enjoy working in a team but also have the capacity to work independently with a focus on expected deliveries
