Job Description

Our client will during 2021 deploy Infrastructure (Shop Floor LAN, HyperV/HCI ) to 20-40 factories. As the project coordinator you will support the factories to place orders, ensure they arrive on time and deployed according to time, and support the factory in migration of applications from old environments into new.

Description of Tasks
Place and handle orders to suppliers
Regular meetings will be scheduled between our client and DXC
Participation is required from the PM
Based on tracking sheet, updated during weekly calls
Assist in interfacing with regional IT and factory IT responsible.
Planning cutovers and migration groups
Avoid or support escalations
Act as an escalation point
Follow up with unresponsive ITSOs
Support on specific actions/issues related to Remote Site migrations or Move groups
Developing and maintaining templates and other documentations such as drawings, solution design etc.
Find the right people within the organization/site to kick off site discoveries
Coordinate/Organize the local activities together with onsite people
Coordinate with HPE racking activities, security access
Involvement towards BT, managing BT as a vendor, including opening change requests
Participate actively in documenting & preparing the Dataroom specs (Rack provisioning, cabling ordering & provisioning, Power, etc)

Top Skills
Good IT Infrastructure knowledge (network, HyperV/HCI and Azure, connectivity, firewall. security)
Basic IT knowledge
Good company knowledge, including supplier engagement tools (e.g. Aries, Genesis and Service Now)
Experience in tools such as Visio, MS project, excel. Azure devops etc.
Good communication skills in English: both written and oral
Experience in driving change within digitalization and technology
Manufacturing knowledge is advantageous
