We are looking for an interim Engineering Manager for our customers B2B management team in Gothenburg.
The B2B-team is going through a transformation developing their digital channels. You’ll be working with two other Engineering Managers to meet coming demands and increase the internal teams within the business area to secure their ability to deliver. Implementing new ways and/or developing existing delivery models based on SAFE (ART Implementations) will be a big part of the assignment, driving the organization development and team design.
Overall responsibility of Engineering Manager
Lead/Manage employees/consultants, approx 15-25 FTC/FTE (software engineers, architects, BAs, Scrum Masters)
Accountable for all deliveries in the assigned area
Technical roadmap implementation
Escalation point for Scrummaster/Team coaches
Maintenance, ensure our services have the best quality and follow SLAs
Budget responsibility forecast, estimates and follow-up
Enable and support Continuous improvements
Recruitment of employees/consultants and team/employee stability
Competence strategy for employees and consultants
Experience in leading engineering teams or from technical leaderships roles
Experience from agile software organizations working
You like to drive transformation and setting the direction for the team.
You have strong collaboration and communications skills as you will work with many stakeholders and this is crucial, to secure a common understanding and pre-requisites for innovation and customer driven way of working
