Job Description

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who want to join a dynamic group that design the software architecture, implement embedded software, and develop test framework.
The embedded software includes physical signal conversion, actuator control, diagnostic, scheduling, core setup, power up/down etc.
The group also takes responsibility in the development of the tool chain.

The group is organized in a cross-functional way according to agile/scrum principles; the work is distributed in the scrum teams and covers requirement breakdown, system/function design, implementation of SW and test cases.

Main work
Development of embedded software, mainly low-level SW drivers
Development of in-house designed test framework using Python/C/VHDL
Develop tests to verify functionality and technical solutions
Design the software architecture to be implemented in C code
Build software/architectural design documentation and specification
Support technical embedded software Investigations.

Top Skills

Experience on Embedded Software development
Experience in target CPUs NXP PowerPC or Infineon Aurix is a merit
MSc or similar background with interest and good knowledge in embedded software development and electronics.
Knowledge in automotive engineering and/or mechatronics is a plus.
Knowledge in programming real time systems in embedded C
Experience in programming in Python
Experience in using SW tools such as Jira, Git, Lauterbach Trace, Vector CANalyzer
Competences in embedded software architecture, design, and verification
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work – autonomy and ability to work in a team is key
Open-minded and pro-active, structured with a drive to take the lead
Knowledge and experience in AUTOSAR and ISO26262 will also be valued.
