What you’ll do
In general, you will work closely with the global Digital teams to ensure the best possible outcome, drive public cloud spend management programs and governance from FinOps perspective. You will be in close interaction with various stakeholders to show best practices, help application teams to transform, provide insights and spend data as well as identify and act upon potential cost optimization areas. You’ll collaborate with other team members and assist in new architectural designs and decisions while supporting our growing application engineering teams and to accelerate our path to private cloud.

Top Skills
Discuss with the teams how to modernize applications and make them cloud ready
Verify that teams utilize cloud technologies to optimize resources
Follow up with teams on data quality in CMDB and other relevant tools
Set the governance model together with our cloud architects
Ensure good communication material and document the steps and what is needed
Use our data platform to identify waste and to create reports in PowerBI or Grafana with Snowflake as data source To be successful in this role you need to be a curious team player who loves to collaborate with others. You should have the ability to drive and create commitment. It is important that you have integrity and a developer mindset. You should have a mid-level of understanding of every piece of the IT infrastructure and understand how all these things work together to make end user applications work and work well. Since we are working with our journey to from on-premise to cloud platforms it is important to know the difference between them, and the challenges being in a hybrid cloud environment.
