Job Description

The assignment aims to identify and prevent faults in large industrial machines for our client before they lead to operational disruptions or failures. This is achieved through the use of various types of sensors measuring, for example, vibration, temperature, pressure, and sound.

The scope of the assignment includes testing of measurement equipment, data collection, and analysis of collected data in order to develop and implement algorithms for fault detection.

We are looking for a partner with an interest in signal processing, strong programming skills, and a hands-on mindset with experience in testing activities.

Evaluation and testing of sensors such as accelerometers, pressure and temperature sensors, strain gauges, microphones, Shock Pulse, and Eddy Current sensors

Planning and execution of tests for data collection
Analysis of measurement data and development of algorithms for implementation
Programming in C++ and data analysis using Python and MATLAB
Verification of code in on-site hardware test rigs

Timeline
The assignment is planned to start in mid/late April and will run until the end of March 2027, with the possibility of extension, including work during the summer of 2027.
