Job Description

As a Technical Specialist you will be working within the Enterprise Services area for the Client migration project in the Managed Workstation and Mobility function.The client migration is a step towards our “Stand alone” goal where our client will separate from their parent company and be more independent. They are building their own digital environment and will manage the client landscape within the organization.As a Technical Specialist, you will participate in the ongoing client migration from a digital perspective focusing on the PLM area, provide your digital expertise as well as gathering information and understand the needs from the PLM project. You will also be responsible for analysing and formalizing solutions, handle showstoppers and dependencies to the current computer and application setup with the parent company. You will be the contact person for queries related to the computer migration within the PLM and R&D area.You will work in the Digital Workplace team collaborating with other parts of the Digital organization, the business and relevant stakeholders such as Network and End-point Application Management functions and external parties such as our clients parent company.Main Responsibilities
You will be focusing on the clients from a technical perspective acting upon directives from the Technical Lead for Managed Workstation and Mobility and the Project Manager for the PLM project, assisting to fulfil milestones and project activities on time.

Configure, develop, implement, and install the technical components of the Digital product according to the client migration project requirements
Support the Managed Workstation area and PLM project with different tasks related to the client migration
Ensure the solutions are built according to policies, guidelines, and industry best practices
Carry out both unit and integration tests
Provide expertise to resolve complex technical issues within the Digital Product
Maintain a close relation to the Technical Lead and Architecture & Standards team to ensure the latest guidelines and guardrails are followed when developing digital solutions
The Technical Specialist PLM Client Migration will be responsible for delivering the following outcomes:

Execute on client migration tasks according to project plan
Interact and align the work with network services, software systems engineering and application management to understand needs and requirements
Migration of targeted clients in PLM/R&D area
