Job Description

We are looking for a new Digital Lead, who will be responsible to secure all processes and dependencies connected to procurement IDO at Polestar but also towards Volvo Cars and Geely.

As a Digital lead you will lead, coordinate, develop and manage process development
connected to procurement IDP and all necessary alignment both within Polestar landscape
with other depts., but also towards parent landscapes. To be successful in this role you need
to have an understanding not only of procurement & quality processes, but also how process
and digital interact throughout the OtD process. You will need to secure process activities
within Polestar and interact with internal Volvo Cars process networks as well as Global
Geely networks, and where necessary act as a representative and/or project manager for
Polestar in projects affecting procurement.

This position will give you the opportunity to be in the leading edge of electric vehicles (EV)
development and drive sustainability in the supply chain.

What you’ll do
Manage the overall process development work
Anchor and coordinate between Polestar organization and Volvo Cars
Support system changes needed from a Polestar perspective
Manage implementation/training of process improvements and new processes
Set and monitor KPI’s needed
Secure compliance to necessary legal certifications and regulations
Be an active part in the Polestar procurement team, supporting with process and
system knowledge where necessary
Review and fully document requirements for each function and solution and create
“as is” processes
Secure we can use current Polestar processes within the Digital processes and align
“to be” processes
Create and document gap analysis of business process vs digital solution
Create in/output flows to procurement from other dept systems understand data-set
dependencies.
To create step by step process flows with guidelines, instructions, templates &
documentation to support ISO certifications and standards.
Creating buyer guides and instruction manuals
Support project managers requirements on timing and delivery of processes towards
gateways.
System ownership from IDP
Assist implementing ERP program from an IDP point of view

Top Skills
Proven experience as a Digital lead working with procurement & quality, preferably
within automotive sector.
Strong knowledge and experienced of the Purchase to Pay process – IDP
Good knowledge of the overall landscape from Product development, quality,
procurement, manufacturing & logistics identifying the key dependencies and
integrations
Academic background or equivalent experience from Engineering, Procurement or
similar
Minimum 5 years of experience from the automotive industry or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a process manager or business analyst
Very good knowledge of existing internal (Volvo Cars) system landscape within
 procurement preferred.
Manage internal and external organization interfaces, integrations & dependencies
Good knowledge of SAP tools and products eg., Ariba and S4Hana is an advantage
Creates process flow diagrams and mapping of business processes towards digital
 solutions
To work closely with buyers and support Project managers across the digital
 initiatives At Polestar, you will be part of a cross-functional and international team, with English as a
 natural language for written and spoken communication.
