Technical Project Leader Electronics & Software
Job Description
We are now looking for a Technical Project Leader Electronics & Software for a consulting assignment within advanced product development, where electronics, software and connected solutions play a central role. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Electronics & Software deliveries within new product development projects, product improvement initiatives and cost optimization initiatives.
About the assignment:
As Technical Project Leader E&S, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring deliveries across all E&S areas:
Software
Electronics/Electrical
Electronics & Software testing
The role involves close collaboration with PMO, R&D and Connectivity Center to ensure that the right activities are carried out at the right time and with the right prioritization. You are expected to make technical decisions from a holistic perspective, where factors such as cost, timeline, delivery capability and business value are considered together.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all E&S work within NPD, product improvement and cost-out projects.
Prioritize and take responsibility for E&S-related project activities and deliveries.
Ensure effective collaboration between Electronics & Software, R&D, PMO and Connectivity Center.
Follow up on resources and budget related to E&S deliveries within NPD projects.
Report status, progress and deliveries to the E&S Management Team.
Make necessary technical decisions from an overall perspective, with focus on cost, quality, timeline and delivery.
Drive cross-functional coordination between development teams and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
Level 4 – approximately 15+ years of relevant experience.
Background in electronics or software development.
Experience in technical project management or a similar leading role.
Experience coordinating and driving deliveries in cross-functional development projects.
Experience from product development and working in development organizations.
Ability to make technical decisions based on a holistic perspective rather than detail level.
Strong ability to plan, prioritize and follow up on project activities.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Experience from New Product Development, NPD.
Experience working with electronics, embedded systems or connected products.
Experience with budget and resource follow-up.
Experience collaborating with PMO and cross-functional development teams.
Experience from international development organizations.
